The 8th Conference of EPC Project Management Committee and Work Safety Management Committee of China Haisum was convened in Langfang, Hebei Province on September 22-24, 2016, and was attended by 33 persons, including President Xu Datong, Vice President Fan Yan of China Haisum , and the EPC directors and members of the Two Committees from subsidiaries.
The Conference introduced every company's experience in project management control, and discussed such special topics as the replacement of business tax with value-added tax, the equipment manufacturing supervision and the overseas labor service organization, gave a description of the Group's progress in centralized procurement, and discussed gains and losses in project lawsuits. Leaders from various companies presented the implementation details of EPC business, including the experience in operation and implementation, the existing problems, and the future vision for work.
President Xu Datong pointed in his concluding speech that most importance should be attached to cooperation & exchange in view of the grave overall situation of EPC; it's essential to attach importance to management & control of EPC project operation risk, and properly cultivate EPC management team; it's important to enhance risk control and set up the Red Line and Bottom Line of operation; in case of difficulties, parent and subsidiary companies must make concerted efforts, while brother companies must share weal and woe to actively support Sinolight's development; he also stressed that EPC management and internationalization strategy should be enhanced unswervingly.
